Good Afternoon, everyone! Well, it has happened again. I am training for a new position in my job. I just finished the first week a my new split schedule (still 12 hour shifts) and boy are my arms tired...note to self, you aren't a comedian so stop it.
Anyway, while I'm getting used to this new training schedule, I've been able to get a few things done. First and foremost is the fact that the sequel to Kubrit is almost done with self-edits. After that, I'm hoping to have the professional editor review it and help me. The first draft for the parallel story for book 2 and 3 is done and I'll be editing that during the weekends as well. The third book isn't along much farther because a lot of what happens in the sequel affects the events of the third. As for Jinn, I've been playing around with the way the story is told and I'm just about ready to send to an editor. I'm hoping, by the end of the year, to have three more books on my shelf. I hope everyone is having a good beginning of 2019 and I'll see you next update. Philip M. Warden

Good morning! It is currently 5:51am and I've been up since 2am. Maybe it's the excitement that I'll have my first draft done for Kubrit-Garmen: Days in the Apartment (DITA - still a working title). It could also be that Kuma, my new dog, woke me up. Either way, I'm up and giving you an update. It's a short one, but I told you I'd keep you informed.
KG: DITA is almost done and I should be able to start editing by the first week of October. Yes, it isn't in the best shape, but what drafts are? Seriously, don't find one to tell me about. Other than that, I'm living my life and trying to keep everything balanced (give you one guess as to how that's going). Hope everyone has a great day. I'll try to post a few articles within the next three days, I promise. Philip M. Warden Yo! What have I missed? Updates, apparently. Yes, I have been away from my website for a few months, however, I have a good excu-reason, of course I mean reason.
I have been working on a few projects at once. The first is that I have finished the fourth draft of my light novel (if I can actually keep it short), Jinn. The second project that took a few weeks, rather than years, is that Kubrit 2 first draft is done! I'm proud of how fast it took to actually finish a draft. Those six years for the first book was the draft. I'm sad about that now. But no time for tears! (later, maybe). The third and final is actually an idea I got while reading my book. I didn't like how quick the apartment was. I wanted to explore Caytano and Rubi's relationship and time together more. Unfortunately, when you have to get to the point of things (and not have 63 chapters, which was the original first draft) it doesn't leave much room for deep depth (note to self, stop being redundant). In any case, I was reading my book and thought, "what was the apartment like day to day?" So, I give you my idea of a companion book, side story, whatever you want to call it, Kubrit-Garmen: Days Together (working title). I will be giving a day to day look at their life in the apartment. Their bond actually got deeper than what I was able to put in the first book. With this, I'll be able to put some of the scenes I had to cut from the first Kubrit draft. I look forward to keeping everyone updated on this development. Hope you all have a good day! Philip M. Warden Big announcement here! Wait, that doesn't work... There! That's much better. This announcement comes after such a long time (seriously, about six years in the making) and I'm very happy to share this. My first book, Kubrit, is now available on the Amazon store for $8.99! I did it!

Thank you again for your patience and I hope to continue keeping you updated on my next book. So, I have been revamping my articles on My First Trip to England. Somewhere along the way, though, I stopped. Why? Well, I just got a new job. I went from night shift to morning shift and everything is turned around. I'm trying to get into the rhythm of sleeping at night and being up during the day. This is only the first week and already I'm exhausted. I hope to get my energy back and write after work for a bit a few days a week. In the meantime, I hope you'll forgive my lateness of this message and bare with me while I continue to learn my new job and work out a schedule that can benefit us both for this website.
Philip M. Warden Happy New Year! I hope everyone was safe for the ringing in. I have been pretty busy during the Christmas and New Year break. I was able to pass my welding class, but not planning ahead, I wasn't able to get into my desired classes. So, I have signed up for a writing class instead.
